Chromium bookmarks gone
All of a sudden, my desktop bookmarks have disappeared. All my history,
settings, cookies and other data are still there. I can only access
"mobile bookmarks" and newly made bookmarks on my desktop and smartphone.
Other info: - I use Chromium Version 28.0.1500.52 Ubuntu 13.04
(28.0.1500.52-0ubuntu1.13.04.3)
In this thread about Chrome for Windows they seem to think there is a bug
and some succeed in recovering, but I can't figure it out how they

I had a lot of bookmarks. I really need them. I was on holiday for a month
and only used my smartphone but I couldn't have accidentally deleted them.
I do remember my PC froze sometimes, but very seldom.
